Reauthorize a connection
Published:2026-08-07 16:20/Updated:2026-08-07 16:26
How to authorize again when a connection has expired or been revoked.
When a connection becomes Expired or Error, or shows an Auth Issue / Auth Expired warning, reauthorizing restores it.
Steps
- Select the connection in [Connections].
- Click [Reauthorize] in the detail panel.
- The dialog explains why reauthorization is needed.
- Click [Go to Authorization] and approve on the platform's page.
- You are returned to Connex automatically and the status updates.
Reasons you may see
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Token has expired | The authorization period has passed |
| Token was revoked | Authorization was removed on the platform side |
| Token scope mismatch | Required permissions are missing — approve all of them |
Note
Configuration-based connections such as CROSS MALL have no [Reauthorize]. Change their settings from [Edit config] instead.
