Check connection status
Published:2026-08-07 16:20/Updated:2026-08-07 16:26
What the status badges (Enabled / Expired / Error / Disabled) and the authorization warnings mean, and how to read token expiry.
The connections page tells you whether each connection is usable.
Where to look
Select a connection in [Connections] and [Connection Summary] appears in the detail panel on the right.
| Item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Platform | The type of the connected system |
| Platform account | The connected account / store |
| Token expiry | When the authorization expires |
| Created / last updated | Connection history |
Status badges
A badge next to the connection name shows whether it is usable.
| Badge | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Enabled | The connection is usable | Nothing |
| Expired | The authorization has expired | Run [Reauthorize] |
| Error | Something is wrong with the connection | Try [Reauthorize]; contact us if it persists |
| Disabled | The connection has been disabled | Contact us |

Warnings that appear only when authorization is broken
Separately from the badge above, the list shows a warning when the authorization itself has a problem.
| Warning | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Auth Issue | There is a problem with the credentials |
| Auth Expired | The authorization was revoked |
Nothing is shown when everything is fine. No warning means no problem.
Note
Connex manages token expiry and tries to refresh automatically as expiry approaches. You do not need to watch it. Act only when a warning appears.
What happens when a connection is not usable
Tools that target that connection (order operations, inventory sync and so on) cannot run. If you use automatic sync, this is a common reason for it to stop — so reauthorize anything that is not Enabled promptly.
